It is always confusing when trying to provide an honest answer to a question about a Thomas Kinkade painting because there are so many versions of the same picture and you just have to know exactly what the COA states and nothing else.
"Thomas Kinkade rapunzel dancing continuous tone printing on paper 28 x 42 "- if you compare this to any other description then you are literally trying to compare apples & oranges.
Check the image at the bottom of the page to see what you have to know about your painting.
Your painting was not made at the Thomas Kinkade Studios.
It appears it was made in 2020.
If you look at Thomas Kinkade pictures listed for sale you will see at least 100 and many are the same size/type but you may not find one exactly like yours.
www.ebay.com/
When you look at eBay's sold listings you may notice that only 2 small prints have sold over the past several months.
www.ebay.com/
Paintings are very slow to sell and may remain for sale for years and some will never sell.
I would say your painting may be valued somewhere between #125 - $300 but how long will it take to sell?
Anybody's guess but I do not think you should make any plans on actually selling your painting in a short period of time.
You can list on any site but probably Facebook Marketplace may be the best and you may be lucky and sell it right away.
Hi,
My mom passed away. I have inherited several Thomas Kinkade pictures. What is the value of this picture? A Light in the Storm. I am the light of the world. John 8:12. Please help!
Thank you so much!
This print is probably worth between $50 and $100, according to the sold prices I see on eBay. You might ask for more and see what happens.
How do I find out the value of my Thomas Kinkade painting? It's a 16 x 20 artist proof canvas s/n "Lilac Gazebo" which has been framed at a TK gallery. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
I met Thomas when I purchased the painting, and he drew a remark on the back of the canvas and signed the remark.I can look online and tell you what people are selling or asking for these painting. Considering yours has been signed the price will change a lot and not be what others are asking for this. I would actually think it is best that you seek some help from a art dealer in your area to find out the real value of this canvas you have.
I am looking for the value of this print. Thomas Kinkade (Painter of Light) Conquering the Storms (Seaside Memories VI). It is a limited edition print. I have the Certificate and Limitation & Authenticity.
There are a lot of Kinkade paintings listed for sale and some (usually only canvas) may sell for several hundred to thousands of dollars but the problem with trying to help someone find a current value is the difficulty in finding an exact same paining that has sold even in the last year. It will probably never happen as each little detail means something when discussing paintings/prints.

Paintings are very, very slow sellers and you may find sellers who leave their paintings listed for years (and may never sell). This is not the same painting as yours but an example - Here is a painting that I had shown in one answer to a similar question (2/2017) and is still listed for sale (no way to know how long it had been listed before 2/2017). But we can see this painting has been listed for sale for over 2 years. This is not my painting, just a painting listed on eBay.

You can Google Thomas Kinkade Conquering the Storms and see how many different styles of paintings appear. And - you may not find even one that is the same as yours.

Here is one comment made by an appraiser when ask about buying a Kinkade painting:
"Art can be an investment, but investing in works from Thomas Kinkade is not known to pay off. ... "They sell beautiful Kinkade prints in galleries and on cruise ships, but the frames are worth more than the prints."
You might try getting a free appraisal so you'll know for sure what your painting may be worth - even if just for insurance. Appraisals are usually reduced by about 40 percent when trying to sell on the open market.
If you try to use one of these services you will need good pictures.

I bought this framed print, Thomas Kinkade Golden Gate Bridge San Francisco limited edition 10/3850, and am just curious what it's worth. There are so many different ones I'm confused. Pictures are attached.
Prints are worth a lot less than the original paintings are. It appears that they have made 3850 of these prints and yours was the 10th one made. The value of this print will depend if it is made from paper or canvas. The frame has a factor in determining the price of this print. The size of your print also plays an important role in determing the value of this print. If you can tell us what the size is and if it is paper or canvas it will be easier for us to tell you the value of your print.
I have a hand signed Thomas Kinkade print called "Nevada City 1922 - A Rainy Afternoon on Broad Street". There is no number next to the signature. I also have a print that isn't signed called "Placerville in the Snow". It has a history of Kinkade attached to the back from a store in Placerville where the print was purchased (friend of a friend purchased years ago for unknown price).
Kinkade is popular but there are quite a large number of prints (of every painting) available and also on different types of material.
You have the type of items that only a true appraiser can help with any kind of true value and getting a "retail price" means nothing when trying to sell something like this.
Hi,
My mom passed away. I have inherited several Thomas Kinkade pictures. What is the value of this picture? It is Stepping Stone Cottages. Love is the stepping stone to new beginnings.
Please help!
Thank you so much!
Ann
A couple of these have sold on eBay recently. One went for about $35 and another at $75. Since this is a small version, it probably won't retain its value like the larger painted ones would.
There are two currently posted on eBay for about $75. I would ask for $65 or 70 to start and see if you can get it sold.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you

I couldn't find this exact version of the painting. Because of the nicer matting, it might be worth a little bit more than the plainer painting. But the 14x14 is very small so that would reduce the price. It's probably worth about $50.
Hi, My mom passed away. I have inherited several Thomas Kinkade pictures. What is the value of this picture? It is Conquering the Storms. Please help!

Like your other prints, this is probably worth about $50 unless you are lucking when searching for a buyer. There were so many of these prints sold to people who thought they were investing in artwork for the future, the value has really dropped over the years.
I'm trying to find out about this Thomas Kinkade. It does not have the word studio under Thomas Kinkade. It does have the number 12 to the right, a little bit of John 316 and on the right side of the painting, it has like some kind of initials and the numbers 4680 with a line between him and then 48501.
This print is Carmel, Sunset on Ocean Avenue. The original was painted in 1999 and the prints are still available for sale on thomaskinkade.com, but not for the 18x27 that you have. I couldn't find this size for sale so I don't have a good price range but I will say that these prints have not retained their value in general. Some of these prints would have brush strokes added or reproduced in a variety of ways that would affect the price.
I'm in Canada. This Thomas Kinkade print in gold frame with glass was bought new in the USA. It's been well taken care of. I'm wondering what the value of it is. Thanks.
It looks like about the only kind of painting selling is the canvas and these are being sold for even lower prices than a year or so ago and the prices then were way below the original cost.
Here is an identical painting as yours that has been listed for sale on eBay for over 4 years (yes - years) and it is priced at $149.95 with best offer and has not sold. You can place a watch on this one to see if it sells.
www.ebay.com/
Here is a link to paintings that have sold over the past several months - check out types/prices - all sold appear to be canvas which is valued much higher than any prints.
www.ebay.com/
From all appearances your print would be valued at less than the $149 as this one is identical and has not sold.
If you wish to list it for sale, I would advise you to list it on sites in Canada and start the price at what you wish and if no offers reduce the price and wait again.
Be very careful about shipping costs as this is heavy glass and difficult to ship.
I recently bought a Thomas Kinkade Fly Fishing print. It is signed and numbered, but with an I/P notation. I know what that means, but cannot find the value of "it doesn't get much better " international print anywhere.
Can you help? It is the larger sized print. If you are looking for insurance value, talk to your insurance broker to make sure you are covered if it is damaged/stolen and to make sure you don't need a special rider for it.
If your broker is like mine, they will want to know how much you paid for it, if it has all the correct paperwork (like certificate of authenticity), and if it is framed or not...and if yes, professionally framed or a do it yourself job. This will develop a replacement value.
If you are looking for actual sold market value, I use Ebay completed/sold (you need to click BOTH options which on my screen are to the left of the listings) to look for comparables.
I never go by asking prices as people can ask for a million dollars :). By using the sold feature, you can get an idea of what people are actually paying for items in the open market.
There was a GP of this print recently sold for best offer with the selling prices starting at $620 and free shipping. Best offer means it was sold for less than the asking price (but you don't know exactly what amount. You also need to factor in that it probably cost $30-$50 to ship depending on size and location so the seller has to take that off the final amount + Ebay and Paypal fees (which are huge).
Hope this is helpful!!
