This BBQ will be on your favorite list in no time at all. A succulent bourbon sauce that is neither sweet nor sour. It is just perfect for any meatball you make.

Meatballs: BBQ Sauce:

Mix together and form into balls. Put into oven to bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. While they are baking make the BBQ sauce

BBQ Sauce:

In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the onion, garlic, and whiskey. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until onion is translucent. Mix in the ground black pepper, salt, ketchup, vinegar, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and hot pepper sauce.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 20 minutes. Run sauce through a strainer if you prefer a smooth sauce. Add your meatballs and put in crock pot on high for 30 minutes. Allow to marinate until ready to serve.

This recipe is great after sitting all night in the BBQ sauce.
