Is there an economical way to rid children of head lice. My family is infested with the critters and after 2-1/2 mos of Rid, Nix and other home remedies, we cannot seem to clear them. HELP!

If you have had them that long, something isn't being done right. First, you need to treat everyone that has them at the same time. Also, you need to treat the bedding, clothing, coats, hats, car seats...everything. are you going to someplace where you are getting it re-infested ??Go to the doctor and get the prescription strength remover. It may cost more, but you only use it twice, and not over and over for 2 and 1/2 months, so in the long run, it would save you money. And, your insurance will possibly cover it.
Head lice nowadays are becoming resistant to treatments; it's a real problem. You may have to get a prescription from the doctor. You have to be vigilant and pick the eggs out every day for about 3 weeks.
