When shaving, first I use an electric shaver. Before I finish up with a straight razor, I use some moisturizer on my face. It eliminates razor burns and cuts. It really works quite well.

That's a very interesting method, but I think that if you use a high quality electric razor, there's no need to finish with a manual razor, I find that the skin is in a sensitive state and this could lead to rashes or bumps.
