Chocolate Scotcharoos With Peanut Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips (6oz.)
  • 1 pkg. butterscotch chips (6oz.)

Directions

Cook sugar and corn syrup over moderate heat until mixture boils. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Mix in Rice Krispies and press into buttered 9x13 pan; let cool. Melt over hot water, chocolate chips and butterscotch; stir to blend. Spread over Krispies and chill about 5 minutes. Cut into bars.
