Romano Onion Bake

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups sliced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese

Directions:

Saute' onion in butter until crisp-tender. Arrange in a lightly greased 8 inch square baking dish. Combine eggs and next 3 ingredients; mix well. Pour over onion. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with Romano cheese, and bake an additional 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
