Citrus Based Flea Spray?

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 398 Posts

Has anyone tried the grapefruit juice citrus flea repellent? The fruit is cut up, boiled in water, steeped overnight, sprayed on neck and under arm pits and in front of tail and on stomach.

Does it work any better than the lemon citrus flea repellent? Any comments or experiences?

I've done the same thing with lemons and it does work (citrus) as a repellent but if you have a bad flea infestation you'll still need to get rid of as many of the fleas, eggs, larvae and pupae as possible to get the situation back in control.
