Easy Pumpkin Squares

Ingredients:

• 1 box of spice cake mix
• 1- 15 oz. can of pumpkin (not canned pumpkin pie filling)
• whipped topping, ice cream, or whipped cream, optional

Directions:

Turn oven to 350 degrees F. Sift cake mix to remove lumps. Add the can of pumpkin and beat until smooth. It will be very thick.

Spread evenly in a 13 x 9 inch pan and bake 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool thoroughly before cutting into squares. Topping is optional. Good served warm or at room temperature.
