Spoonful of Syrup Makes the Medicine Go Down

When my daughter was little, the taste of liquid prescriptions would immediately make her vomit, particularly antibiotics. A friend from work said her daughter had the same problem and suggested that I give her a half spoonful of chocolate syrup before and after the medicine. Worked like a charm! The flavor of chocolate syrup is so strong, it completely masks the taste of the medicine.
