Don't Clean Up Dough With Hot Water

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 297 Posts

When making doughy baked items, for easier clean up, don't use hot water. Instead, use cold water and a bench scraper. It saves time and effort. The hot water tends to make things even more gooey!

I let it dry while I tidy everything else up. When dry it's very easy to clean up with a metal spatula. Then I wash everything as I'm not dealing with any dough.
