Every year, you need to inspect your roof and pipe vent boots to make sure you don't have cracks in the boots that seal out moisture. This needs to be repaired immediately to prevent damage and costly repairs.

Inspect your roof for loose shingles and remove any large branches. Its good to do a thorough cleaning before summer and you will want to repair any broken tiles or shingles as soon as possible. If you are inspecting from the ground, use a pair of binoculars to get a better view.

Having a roofing problem? Inspect your roof from the ground. Use a pair of binoculars to zoom in on a trouble spot rather than bringing out a ladder and climbing on the roof.

Works for looking at the bricks on the chimney too!
