Shopping Bag Made for Produce?

I would like to purchase a bag to fill with my produce from the super market. I don't want a solid bag. Rather I would like to purchase a string type that has lots of holes in it so the produce can breathe until I get it home. Can anyone help? I live in Massachusetts, about 20 miles north of Boston.

If you can shop online check out:

www.reusablebags.com/.../shopping-bags-string-bags-c-2_8.html

or they featured this company on Oprah last Friday on her Earth Day show:

Otherwise check out just about any natural food store or co-op in your area..they have them. Or possibly look at a local farmer's market.

If you crochet I have seen patterns to make your own string bags online before.

If you can order off the net, then this is the perfect bag for you...

Hope you enjoy!!!

I bought one at "The Christmas Tree Store" (I think that is what is was called) in Avon, MA about 13 years ago...it still works great. I don't know if the store is still there...I no longer live in New England.

You can make your own by using tulle. You can find that at Jo-anns or walmart. Or see if there are any premade at online malls such as www.etsy.com or www.hyenacart.com
