My Perfume Bottle Stopped Spraying?

My brand new spray perfumed bottle won't spray anymore. What to do? How can I unblock it? Can't take it back, it was a gift from a faraway country.

Try running some hot water over the nozzle of the spray area. Worked for me. Hope this helps.

have you seen those perfume bottles with an atomizer like in the old movies? you can still get those at perfume counters and some gift stores. if the perfume is worth the time and trouble i'd try to pry off the top or even break it off and pour the perfume into an atomizer and then use it.

good luck. i've had that happen to me too and it is frustrating to say the least.

I just bought a little purse sized atomizer from a new website called Temu. It's got all sorts of Chinese imports at insanely cheap prices and the stuff arrived within a week. I know this sounds like an advertisement, but I'm getting to the point, I promise. I have a bottle of pretty French perfume that I received as a gift several years ago, , but when we moved to our new house four years ago I somehow lost the sprayer nozzle to that bottle and I couldn't use any other one that I had or had bought since then. So I saw this item and thought that it would be a good bet to try it, after all, it was only $1.59, and if it wouldn't work for that perfume, I could easily try it out on another one. It arrived quickly and you just pull off the sprayer nozzle and pump the cylinder up and down just as you would if you were spraying the perfume.

There's a little window on the side of the cylinder so you can see if it's working and filling up. I was so happy with that silly little thing! I can say that it was worth it to hang on to the bottle all this time! I now can go out smelling of Lalique! It hasn't lost its potency at all, and now I've got a cylinder that is about the size of a cigarette lighter to tuck into my bag so I have it on hand! I know that I shouldn't shop on those sites, because they have a lot of stuff that isn't really worth the money in the long run, but I'm very happy with this purchase because that lovely bottle of perfume has gone waaaay up in price and I want to get every doggone drop out of it that I can! If the safety pin idea doesn't work out for you, look for an atomizer that you can refill from the bottom for your purse!

Run the nozzle under hot water for a few seconds, then take a fine needle to poke in the spray hole to clean it out. It worked for me. Cheryl
