Can I Remove Abrasions on a Granite Countertop?

Our granite counter top has some large abrasions. How can we remove them? We haven't been able to hire a pro to do this, as they say it can't be done.

Thanks, Terry

You didn't specify what you mean by abrasions or where you're located - My family in Denver has used for their floors etc..

You might try and see if they have someone in your area

You could always try restoring it yourself & then sealing it. Several products are available at any of the following:

Stone Repairing companies: is a good read & has a lot of tips on repairing natural stone.

I would contact CONPROCO and find out if they have professionals in your area who can help. It sounds as thought your counter-tops need to be resurfaced - maybe they'll know some who can do it.
