What are Corn Flakes?

I read a recipe that called for something and I don't know what it is. What are corn flakes?

It's a breakfast cereal, as pictured. You've probably seen it in your grocery stores.

It is a breakfast cereal. There are two brand names that I can think of and I am sure there are others. One is Kellog's corn flakes and the other is Post Toasties. They are same product, just made by different manufacturers.

You will find it in the cereal aisle of your grocery store. The picture on the box will be little kind of tan colored flake shaped items.
