Light and buttery, oh so good.
Cream margarine, shortening and sugar until fluffy and sugar dissolves.
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix slowly into creamed mixture. Mix in pecans. Cover and refrigerate for easier handling.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls, Arrange on cookie sheet and bake 11 to 14 minutes or until done at 350 degrees F. Do not over cook.
I sometimes omit the pecans and roll in cinnamon sugar, or add coconut to part of the dough for a change. Bake the same.
