Chicken and Dressing

  • 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb seasoning dressing mix
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 cup water

  • 2 1/2 cup cooked diced chicken
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 3/4 cup chopped green onions

  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Combine first three ingredients and put half of mixture in a buttered 9x13 inch baking dish. Reserve the other half.

Combine ingredients through onions and place on top of dressing in baking dish. Put remainder of dressing on top of chicken mixture. Mix together eggs and milk and pour evenly over casserole.

Cover and refrigerate casserole overnight. Remove from refrigerator one hour before baking and spread on top 1 can cream of mushroom soup. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees F for 40 minutes. Sprinkle top with grated Parmesan cheese or American cheese, and bake 10 minutes longer.

  • 3-4 skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 box of Stove Top Stuffing (chicken flavor)
  • 1 can of chicken broth

Place chicken breasts in bottom of crock. Sprinkle Stove Top on top. Then pour broth over everything. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Finish it off with a side of cranberry and you are set!
