Tex is a 2 year old St. Bernard/Pit bull mix. This was my brother's dog and his best friend, they did everything together. My brother was a logger and Tex would ride in his truck with him. My brother just passed away two weeks ago in his hotel room and Tex layed beside him and wouldn't stop howling. This alerted the staff to their room. He wouldn't stop howling and crying until they came in and checked on him.
He is such a wonderful dog and was a very loyal friend to my brother. Tex is a big lovable drool machine. He loves to wrestle and play but never bites. He acts like a big baby most of the time.

Such a sad story. People who don't have dogs do not realize how smart they are. I hope you will give Tex a home after his and your horrible loss.

Tex sounds like a wonderful (and beautiful) dog. I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your brother, and I hope it's some comfort to know that he passed on with his best friend by his side.
