Use a Throw as a Comforter for Toddler Bed

Recently my grandson moved into a toddler bed. The mattress is the same fit as the crib, but I needed a blanket that fit the entire bed. I found that the throws that are sold everywhere are a fit perfect. They come in variety of colors and patterns. I chose a Thomas the Train throw. My grandson's favorite.

I also bought Thomas the Train fabric material to make a pillow case. It was easy. I had only to sew up 3 sides, turn right side out, and cover the pillow. Now every time he goes to bed, he yells, "It matches!" It is the little things in life that bring the most joy.
