Mushroom Steak

I love mushrooms, so it's no surprise that I love this recipe! Very tender and tasty!

  • 2 lbs. round steak
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • Advertisement

  • 1 can mushroom stems and pieces

Cut steak in pieces and tenderize. Roll in flour and brown. Place in baking dish and cover with soup and mushrooms, drained. Season with salt and pepper. Bake at 350 degrees F until steak is tender, about 1 hour.

Servings: 4-6
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 60 Minutes

Hi Robin, this sound yummy. I make something like this, but I put it all in the crockpot. Sometimes I put potatoes(diced) then the steak. Love it.

This sounds real good, and easy. It's a good way to use a cheaper cut of meat and make it tender.

I think I'd have to throw in some fresh mushrooms at the end. One really great thing about eating a lot of mushrooms: they are nutritious, and very low calorie.

Love the sound of this recipe, but I don't care for regular mushroom soup, I'll swap it for the Golden Cream of Mushroom soup.
