Springtime Strawberry Delight

Sweet and tart. Cool and refreshing.



  • 2-1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar

Middle Layer:

  • 8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip


  • 6 oz. pkg. strawberry Jello
  • 1 lb. frozen strawberries


Mix crust ingredients until well blended. Spread on bottom of 9x13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes. Cool. Mix middle layer ingredients until well blended. Spread on top of pretzel crust.

For the top layer, prepare Jello according to the package directions. Add frozen strawberries. Chill partially to set, then pour over top of cream cheese mixture in pan. Chill to fully set the Jello. Top each serving with whipped cream.

You need to add the hours of chilling time to the time the recipe takes. I think if you started early AM it might be done by suppertime.


You don't want the middle layer to sog. Otherwise, I could probably eat the whole thing by myself.
