Red Cabbage

Love me some cabbage! I have yet to find a way I don't like it fixed!

Ingredients:

  • 1 head red cabbage, shredded (about 3 lbs.)
  • 3 tart red cooking apples, cored, thinly sliced

  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in large skillet; mix well. Cook, covered, over medium heat for 20-25 minutes or until cabbage is tender-crisp, stirring occasionally. 6-8 servings.

Servings: 6-8
Prep Time: 10-15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 20-25 Minutes
