Is a 1945 set of encyclopedia Britannica worth anything? They are in pretty good condition.

Nothing. You can't even give them away.
You can search online for that particular set, or try ebay, to see if anyone is selling that same set, and see what they are asking. The only sites I have seen for antique books DO have encyclopedias, but they are from the 1800s and earlier.
