Source for Inexpensive Large Print Playing Cards?

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 306 Posts

We are looking for a source for the large print playing cards for a senior citizen camping group. We need around 30 decks and the price we found is around $2.50 per deck. Anyone know of a source for decent ones any cheaper? We need to replace them quite often so really need to find a good source. Thanks ahead of time.

Check with WalGreens and see if they can't do something special for you.

Are you near a 'Dollar Tree' store at all? I have seen both the regular and the large print playing cards there. They have 2 decks in a pack for a dollar. I am not positive but I think it is the same ones as these someone has on ebay:

They sell the regular cards on their website but not the large print, plus you would have to buy a case which is 72 packages which is way more than you need anyway. Not sure how close this one is but according to their site there is one at:

Grand Island Mall
2300 N. Webb Road
Suite 101
Grand Island, NE 68803

Is there a casino near you? Sometimes casinos will GIVE cards away. If not their gift shops sell them for $1.00 a deck.

The drawback is that these cards will have been marked in some way so they can't be used in the casino again. Otherwise, the cards are in new condition.

There are many senior clubs who use these of cards.

Give it a try. Can't hurt.

Thanks to all of you for your help. I called our local variety store and she graciously offered to sell them at cost to us. You just never know until you ask. In a small town people tend to take care of one another. I wish you all well.

Our local dollar store's has them two for a dollar, and also 1 for a dollar. Try there.
