Avoiding the Flu and Winter Colds

When I start to get sick, feeling feverish, any kind of sore throat, or just feeling like I am coming down with a cold or the flu, I immediately take 1000 milligrams of vitamin C and two echinacea with golden seal capsules (450 mg ea). I take this twice a day for two or three days and I have not had a cold or the flu in over 10 years. I don't know if it works for everyone, but it is definitely the right thing for me.

I do the same thing Sue, but i add some zinc also, haven't been sick in years.

I do the same thing with zinc. I take 100 mg once a day for four days as soon as I feel a cold or even a sinus infection coming on. It just goes away. If you try this, be sure to take them with a little food or you will get a stomach ache.

I do the same thing, but no, it doesn't work for everyone. I have been doing that for years and still get colds. Sadly - I wish it did work for everyone.
