Recyclebank Curbside Recycling Program

Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 169 Posts

I recently signed up for the curbside recycling program here. It's through Waste Management Systems. They pick up garbage nationwide. The recycle program is called Recyclebank. There are rewards for recycling.

A large cart with a number and a sensor to weigh the recycled materials is provided. Points are given according to the weight of the material. When you register online, all the points are recorded and can be redeemed for coupons. Everything is tossed in the cart together with no sorting. They ask that you rinse the containers, bottles, milk jugs, etc. It would be worth your while to inquire about it in your town.
