The best things I have found to take anything off painted walls are the magic erasers. They are actually really cheap. You don't have to buy the name brand kind. The Walmart and dollar store kinds work just as well.
I just used Magic erasers to gel lip gloss off my painted walls and all it does is smear it... I will be searching for another method!!
