Removing Murphy Oil Soap Residue from Wood Floor?

Engineered meaning 'fake wood floor' I presume. I use a wet washcloth, get on your hands and knees and do scrub as if your life depended on it. Then I take an old towel, cotton sock, spray a little pledge on it and dust the floor hard. Polish it as if it were a real wood floor. Don't use any chemical on it that you could not put on your hands.
