Use Birthdate To Determine Turns

If you have more than one child, you know how frustrating it is to have the kids squabbling over whose turn it is to do whatever. If you are lucky enough to have them born on odd and even dates (mine were 28th and 27th), and only TWO kids, you can use this:

If the date today is an even number, the kid whose birthday is on the even numbered day is "it" for whatever. If today is an odd numbered day, the "odd" numbered kid is "it." On the 31st, it is Mom's day. This works for just about everything: chores, privileges, picking the movie, getting into the car first, taking out the trash, setting the table, etc.

Dear, oh, dear! Where were you when my 50 somethings were squabbling over everything? Great post! Thanks.
