Are you absolutely certain that your dog's behavior is a result of loud noises? It appears he does have a problem but it may not be a result of loud noises.

Your vet can help you in this situation as your dog may have a new medical condition that causes the behavior. He or she will examine and test for possible problems. If the vet agrees that the loud noises are the cause, he or she can recommend treatment. If the behavior is not the cause, your vet can help you and your dog with medical treatment and situational changes that will help you both.

It sounds like your dog may have an anxiety based behavior problem. There are medications that can help this.
