Rescued Dog Peeing Inside?

Last year, we adopted a 6 year old pure bread Shiba Inu who had been re-homed 4 times. She is skittish and even after a year, will hardly go near my husband or any other visitor. We have a doggie door which she uses on a regular basis, but for some time now, I have been finding pee spots in my bedroom where she sleeps.

Last night while watching TV, she when went right in front of the TV and squatted and peed. I'm sure anxiety comes into play from being rehomed so many times, but how do we stop this with out making her more skittish? She has been given healthy checkups so I don't think it's her bladder.

I would take her back to the vet and have her checked again for a uti. If that is still ok, talk to the vet about getting her on something for anxiety.

My daughter had a dog that did this. It had been rehomed many times due to it. It finally had to go to a farm and be an outside dog.
