He is approximately 4 years old, we were "watching him for a couple weeks" and 2.5 years later.... So we don't know anything about his history, but we are blessed to have a doggy like him! Our best guess would be German Shepherd/Husky cross? He is playful and friendly, good with other dogs and children, and clumsy but very smart.
He loves to run and roam. He weighs between 50 and 75lbs (never actually had to lift him, but he can easily knock an adult male over) and standing on all 4s his height is about 3 ft, on 2, about 5' 5". Everyone always asks, but we really don't know. Like I said we think he is a Husky/German Shepherd, but some of his features are very different from the crosses we have seen.
