The plant is a Moon Flower Plant and it blooms beautiful large white trumpet blossoms each night and closes up during the daytime. It is poisonous, so keep children and pets away from it. The prickly seed pods turn dark brown and burst open allowing seeds to drop and produce new plants next year.

I agree it is toxic but it is not the moonflower (iponomea alba) it is a Datura stramonium. The flower could be mistaken but not the fruits.

The moonflower ( iponomea alba ) doesn't have this kind of spiky fruits and the leaves of the moonflower are hart shaped.
