I have a flat top ceramic stove. I cannot find anything to get off the burnt and dark places on the burner.
Well, I was making jelly and left the room for a minute. Wrong idea. The sugar and contents boiled over on ceramic cooktop.
My flat top stove has circles around the burners from where I have put wet pans on them. Does anyone know a way to get rid of these?

I find it best to use baking soda on a smooth top stove. To clean burnt crust off, let baking soda stand a few minutes, and then wipe off with warm cloth.
I have a white glass top stove and there are dark black burn marks on the top. I have tried every glass top cleaner made in addition to white vinegar, bleach, soft scrub, etc.
I have a new smooth, black ceramic top stove. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to clean it, or a cheap cleanser to use that won't scratch the surface?
Do you have a smooth top electric stove? I do and have found cleaning it aggravating with the commercial products out there (plus they are expensive).
