I have two Paradise Galleries Treasury Collection, premiere collection porcelain dolls. Baby Taylor (African American) and Baby Morgan (white porcelain). I have the certificates and all. How do I find their worth? There are many P.G dolls, but I have not found anything online about these two.
By Lexx H
It seems you may have already checked Google and other places for an answer, so I can only recommend looking for similar dolls and what they have SOLD for; not prices people are asking.
eBay has a sold area that you can find if you look for your item and then scroll down the left side of your window and find "sold Listings". Similar dolls can at least give you an idea of what people are willing to pay for similar dolls. Selling dolls is a not an easy task and may take weeks or months.
I have three, never out of the box, Paradise Galleries porcelain dolls. How do I find the value of them?
By Danielle from Rigby, ID
Hi - there are about 600 of this maker on eBay so you may be able to check yours out.
Does anyone know designer of these dolls? I can't make out the signed name. Value?
These are all mass-produced dolls that are worth less than $25 each.
There are multiple artists that made the American Indian dolls. There was Cindy Shafer, Kelly Rupert, and Linda Mason. There may be others, I am not remembering.
I have seen samples of the signatures on Pinterest and Google images. You have to type in the name and ask it to show you their doll signatures and they usually come right up.
It is interesting how many are illegible! Maybe they should have been doctors :)
Most of these lovelies are sitting unsold on eBay and the various other sites (LetGo, Facebook Marketplace, Etsy, etc.) at various prices ranging from 9.99 to $30.00.
There are a few here and there that are sold, but they are all pristine, in the box, untouched by human hands and even when they sell in this condition it is for around $15 dollars.
That makes me very sad as they were so expensive to start with and the American Indian and the Eskimo dolls were the last dolls to lose their value over the past few years.
I so wish I had better news for you!!
Thanks for sharing them!
Blessings!
It was my great grandmother's. I was wondering the value.
These are mass-produced dolls with a value of $25 or less
Hi! Can you please show a picture all of the text on the tag? Does the tag have a date or is there a date on the back of her neck?
The Paradise Galleries I know did not start making dolls until the very early 1990s. Here is the history of the company I know and sold when I worked in retail:
www.paradisegalleries.com/
There may be precursor to that company...which is why I want to see the tag in detail.
Also, can you please tell me how tall she is.
She looks a lot like the gal that was named Blue Angel of Peace, who was 14 inches tall and had wings.
The one with the wings just sold on eBay for best offer with a starting price of $9.95 (so best offer would be less than that).
If this is who you have, but she has lost her wings, that will lower her value.
Unfortunately if it is the PG that started in 1991, in general their dolls have lost a lot of value in the resale market. There is just a huge supply and a low demand, which drives the prices down. This (right before the holidays) is the best time to try to sell if you need to get rid of her now. If not, I have started recommending people hold on to their dolls for another 10-15 years when the market changes.
Now if she is another Paradise Galleries from the 1960s, I need to do more research since that would be new to me.
Looking forward to learning more and offering more info.
Thanks for sharing!
If you take a look on eBay you will see the prices people are asking for these dolls. The price ranges from $10 up to $25. www.ebay.com/
Not worth a lot, these dolls are mass produced and everyone is selling right now.You could stage your doll for better interest/sale!
Can you tell me the value of a Native American doll from Paradise Galleries? The number 650 is on the neck.
She is the White Star and is lovely. She is actually an Eskimo gal. Sadly she is sitting unsold on eBay for as low as $5, most of which have been sitting on the shelf so to speak for months and months.
Unfortunately, they just made too many of them.
If you have a child who would love her, that would be the best value for her!!
Blessings!
www.paradisegalleries.com/
They can help you identify it. It is a mass-produced doll which decreases in value, unfortunately. Yours is number 650 in the lot.
This doll is like new, it has never been used for play, only as a display.
AWW!! She is cute. A tall toddler?
Sadly this is just a bad market for dolls and most like her are sitting unsold at prices as low as a few dollars.
Part of the problem with dolls are there are a glut of them on the market and now with the new (if you are in the US) DIM shipping, the cost to ship is often more than the value of the doll.
If you want to try her in a local market you could always start as high as $25 an take best offer.
Post back how it goes! Blessings!
These are mass-produced dolls. They rarely go higher than $25
She looks like she is between 22 - 30 inches and these dolls are a nightmare to ship. It almost takes a professional shipper to know how to pack them well enough to ship safely.
So many people seem to be under the impression that Paradise Galleries only has low value dolls and this is not the case. Some of the large dolls may still be of value but may take a long time to sell. eBay is not a good venue to sell a doll like this.
If sold on line it should be posted on a site like Etsy or Ruby Lane but I would recommend to list it on some sites like Facebook Groups or Facebook Marketplace as well as LetGo, OfferUp and any others that have local pick up only so there would be no shipping involved.
You can check out the size doll you have on eBay and get some idea as to the best way to list a doll that will maybe sell.
Numerous pictures of your doll and tag as well as a good description will help an item sell faster.
Here is a link to eBay 24 inch dolls. You will notice that prices are all over the place and most will not sell for those prices but occasionally one will.
You can be brave and list your doll for a higher amount or lower the price and maybe sell her quickly. You do have to consider that your doll is not a 'special' doll but what one would consider a "girl next door" type.
www.ebay.com/
Here is what is a typical price that most people will pay for these dolls.
This link is to sold listings from the past several months. Most prices paid are under $30 plus shipping. This actually means someone may be willing to pay $50 if there is no charge for shipping.
www.ebay.com/
Paradise Galleries sells dolls from their web site and some of these dolls are very expensive. Here is a link just in case someone thinks all of their dolls are low value. They have to be selling or they would be out of business and I do not see that happening.
The advantage is these are new just produced dolls and sold from the 'factory'.
www.paradisegalleries.com/
Today many companies make dolls to resell around the world. They normally design a few dolls each year and make them in lots of 1000 to 5000 dolls at a time. These types of dolls are mass-produced and the resale value is very low. Normally dolls like yours are selling as low as $1 and as high as $25. Selling them online could be hard right now because the market is flooded.
I just bought my first porcelain doll at a thrift store. I found the name "Patricia Rose" under her hair on the back of her neck and a year printed 1998 and a written number F778.
I am just curious of the value, but would appreciate if someone could give me full identification of this doll.Thanks.
This doll is from Paradise Galleries. It ranges from $26 to $53 on eBay.
She is a very pretty doll.
The problem with finding information about these dolls is there are just so many it would have to be search of 'love' to bind out if anyone knows her name.
Paradise Galleries made these dolls and Patricia Rose was the artist.
Patricia Rose also designed dolls for several other companies.
Doll names were put on the name tags but not on the dolls so unless you have a name tag (and most people do not) you may never find out her name.
If you are lucky and find this same doll on eBay, Etsy, or Google and the seller has the original name tag then you may learn her name.
There are usually several hundred Patricia Rose dolls listed on eBay and asking prices are whatever the seller thinks their doll is worth. Sadly, asking prices do not represent current value as only a sold doll will show what someone is actually willing to pay for that doll.
Here is a link to dolls currently listed on eBay and Etsy (Etsy prices are usually always higher than eBay but no way to tell if they sell).
You can place a 'watch' on any eBay doll to see if she sells.

Here is a link to dolls on eBay that have sold over the past several months.
You may notice some higher prices but most of these will be very 'special' dolls and does not represent what current value may be for the ordinary dolls.
www.ebay.com/
I hope you like her and plan to display her in a nice spot where she can be admired.
What is this doll worth? She has a number 1246-C on her neck.
I have a porcelain doll from the 1980s made by Paradise Galleries. I would like help in determining its value.
These are dolls that have decrease in price. $25 is the most you could get.
While I can't find your exact gal online having sold (or in an active action), 3/4 ths of the Paradise Gallery dolls are unsold on eBay for as low as 99 cents.
Occasionally the gals with the red hair are better sellers. You could always start her on eBay in a 7 day auction at 19.99 and see if you get nibbles. You will probably need to lower the price several times until she sells.
Now the challenge is going to be postage if you are in the US because shipping cross country may cost 2-3 times the value of the doll. Be sure to have her wrapped to ship so you know the box weight and size and use the advanced seller tool when doing the listing...otherwise you will end up losing money on the shipping.
If she were mine, I would take her to the flea market with my other items and take the best offer or list her on a local venue like Facebook Sale Want Trade sites.
Post back with an update.
How do I find out how much my dolls are worth?
These are mass-produced dolls that decrease in value. On eBay they can be under $10.
This doll is only one of many?
Researching dolls can be a time consuming 'job' so just take each doll and research by brand, collection, name. You should use a combination of these terms as dolls listings may not have all of this information in the title.
Research usually begins on eBay (largest doll selling site in the world) but check Google, Etsy, Ruby Lane also.
Just remember that listings will show the seller's asking price which has very little to do with current value. Only when you find a doll that has been sold will you be able to know what someone is willing to pay.
There are several of this particular doll presently listed on eBay for sale at numerous different conditions and prices. You can check some out and place a watch on any that you want to see if they sell.
There are no sold dolls like this on eBay over the past several months which of course means no one is buying at the present time or price.

I have a Treasury Collection Paradise Galleries premiere Edition doll. What would the value of this baby doll?
These mass-produced dolls decrease in value and are $25 or less on eBay.
I just purchased this doll today. She a Kathleen Hill doll from Paradise Galleries. I was just wondering how much she worth? Her name is Kate.
These are mass-produced dolls that decrease in value. Smaller dolls are worth $25 or less. Larger dolls may get up to $35.
How much is Valentine Rose by Patricia Rose worth? I have searched eBay and Google to no avail. I can't find one like her. She is a premiere edition in the Treasury Collection. I bought her some years ago from Paradise Galleries. Thank you.

I just bought this doll at a tag sale for $20.00. I have been trying to find the value of her myself. She is lovely.
My grandmother gave me 2 Paradise Galleries porcelain dolls. I am looking to sell them, but I am not sure of their value. They are both about 18'. One is a Native American, the other an angel.
