Hi Milly,
What beautiful flowers! I was quite suprised to see someone from Summersville, MO.I live in NJ, but I graduated from S'ville high school!! (I was just there last year for my 20th HS reunion) I actually lived in Mtn. View though. Keep up the great work with the flowers. Still waiting for ours to bloom. Out here in NJ we dont get the warm weather as early as you guys do so hopefully my lillys will bloom in a few week. Take care!!

Thank you for the gorgeous photo of your lilacs. Mine are a few weeks away, and every spring for a couple of weeks it's heavenly. I never get tired of them. Same with lilies of the valley. I love perennials.

Thank you for your photo. I also have fond memories of my father cutting lilac branches off the two huge bushes we had outside our back door. My father is gone but the memory of the beauty and joy the lilacs brought him are special. I want to grow some just like yours! I better get busy!!!

(she's allergic) and I just told her "they're here for a short time so see ya later!!"" lol .......thanx so much for sharing

Thanks for sharing!! I absolutely adore lilacs. During my youth, at home, I had a lilac bush right outside my bedroom window. My parents had a time with me, I always wanted my window open so I could smell the lilacs & they wanted the a/c on! Thanks for the memories!!
