Saving Money on Diet Items

Saving Money on Diet Food

Dieting can be expensive if you have to buy special foods or a wide variety of different foods. Eating one serving of a low calorie or low sugar cereal twice a day will not only take the weight off, but will allow you to save lots of money on the grocery bill.

Watch for sales & by using coupons. Do rebates if there is any on the product.

Also, what a friend may like, you might not. Try a diet product yourself, instead of taking someone's opinion of it, first. As like anything else, try a sample size to see if you like it before you go and buy a "family pack" or "convenience size" portion and not like it. It would be a total waste of money.

I think the best diet tip is learn how to make yourself delicious food! I buy fresh fruit and veg once a week (which are cheaper than cookies and chips) and make salsa, soups and chiles....and enjoy every moment of our life! We all know how to diet - its just a case of being sensible!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!! :-)

If your on a special diet get the basics like fruit vegetables and meat at a store like Save a lot first then get your special foods like low calorie ice-cream, and 2% cheese at the bigger grocery store. Check out the coupons at the bigger grocery stores but only get the things you will use or want. Bring a list.
