I made this cake yesterday and it was the biggest mess you ever saw, it never did bake right, it spewed all over my oven it rose like a souffle and then just dropped, my neighbor nearly died laughing, I make cakes and pies all the time I am 65 years old She also said it should have had eggs in. it is or was this an oversight. This was my first attempt at pound cake.
