Garlic-Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups buttermilk baking mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. In medium bowl, combine baking mix, milk and cheese; stir until just moistened. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough, 2-3 inches apart, onto greased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. In small bowl, combine margarine and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits.

When I am in a hurry or in a bind I take the easy way out.
I mix together..

melted butter (margarine)
garlic powder
parmasan cheese
dried onion
I use canned bisquits the Supersize Jumbos(butter flavored) from save-alot .Just spray the pan. Dip the bisquit in the mix put on pan and bake! They are sooo good.. my grand kids gobble them!! I have to tell them stop eating the bisquits so you can eat
the other stuff on your plate. yummmmmmmy! Yuo can use any canned bisquit.. even the cheese ones. Try it!!!!

CHEESE GARLIC BISCUITS AKA RED LOBSTER
BISCUITS

2 c. Bisquick
2/3 c. milk
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 tsp. garlic salt

Mix Bisquick, milk and cheddar until a soft ball forms. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Drop by balls onto an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Mix butter and garlic and brush on rolls while still on the pan and hot
