Have you had trouble with stain removers (such as Shout, etc.) leaving a light spot on your dark or bright-colored clothing like it had been bleached?

Here's what I do for stains on dark or bright-colored clothing: while the garment is dry, with your finger carefully daub right on the stain with water. Then dip your finger in a little bit of the stain remover and carefully daub where it's wet; then wash in the washing machine. You might have to do this a couple of times for stubborn stains but at least it won't leave a bleach mark like it does sometimes when you spray the stain remover directly on the dry clothing.
