I have a new pair of very expensive patent shoes with an ink stain on them! I have tried hairspray, alcohol, white spirit, milk, soap and water but nothing even comes close to removing it! Help!

I used Coppertone brand Water Babies spray sunscreen on my white leather couch to get in off and it worked. Maybe give that a try.

Request: Ink on Patent Leather

Archived on 09/10/2008

I need to know how to remove ink from patent leather. I got some on my yellow patent leather sneakers and don't know where to begin by removing it.

RE: Ink on Patent Leather

Spray it with hairspray and wipe it. It may take a few times to get it all off, but it should work. (04/05/2006)
