Lima Bean Casserole
- 1 lb. dry lima beans
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. dark syrup
- butter, melted
- 1/2 pint sour cream
Soak beans overnight in water to cover in large saucepan. Drain beans and add fresh water to cover. Cook until water is absorbed.
Combine beans with next 4 ingredients and 1/2 cup butter in casserole, mixing well. Stir in sour cream. Drizzle 1/3 cup butter over casserole. Bake at 300 degrees F for 2 hours, stirring every half hour.
