Kitty litter can absorb those ugly oily spots on the garage floor or driveway. Just sprinkle some kitty litter on the spots, leave to sit for a few hours, come back, and sweep away the stains.

Don't be surprised, however, when using kitty litter, to find that some outside cat has made a deposit while you were gone. You may find yourself cleaning up more than you had intended!

And for those REALLY stubborn oil stains, after the kitty litter, pour a 2 liter cola over the stain (these come for like 50 cents for the store brand) and leave it for a few hours, then hose off. The acid in the cola eats right through the oil. But be sure to use cola and not one of the other types of soda.
