Lipton Marinated Chicken Breasts

Quick and tasty

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup white wine or apple juice
  • 1 pouch Lipton Onion Recipe Mix
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 4 skinless chicken breasts (boneless or bone-in)

Directions:

In shallow non-metallic dish, combine lemon juice, white wine, Lipton Onion Recipe Mix, vegetable oil and basil. Add chicken to marinade; let stand for 20 minutes, turning chicken occasionally.

Remove chicken from marinade, reserving marinade. Place chicken on oiled rack on broiler pan; broil 6 in from heat for l5-20minutes (depending on size of chicken breasts), basting with reserved marinade for first 10 minutes and turning often, until chicken is golden brown and juices run clear when chicken is pierced with a skewer.

Recipe: Marinated Chicken Breasts

Ingredients:

  • 6 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 Tbsp. coarse grain mustard
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:

Place chicken breasts in a large shallow dish. Combine remaining ingredients; stir well, and pour over chicken. Cover and marinate chicken in the refrigerator 2 hours. Remove chicken from marinade, discarding marinade. Grill chicken over hot coals about 8 minutes on each side.
