Crock Pot Picante Chicken

Easy, cheap, and yummy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken breast per person
  • 1 jar picante sauce for every 4 chicken breasts.
  • 1 bag tortillas
  • shredded cheese (optional)
  • sour cream (optional)

Directions:

Thaw chicken and place in crock pot, pour picante sauce over chicken. Set on low and go to work, school, or run errands in the morning.

At supper time, pull the chicken apart in crock pot with forks.

Take out and put in middle of tortilla, top with cheese, sour cream, or both if you want. Fold and eat.

This would be delicious, and our bunch loves anything that tastes like "tacos".

Thanks for sharing your recipe.

I'm hungry right now, and this sounds better than anything else I can think of, so I'll settle for cereal tonight and put a chicken in the crockpot for tomorrow morning's breakfast.

Thank you for sharing MaLynn.

I make this about once a week for four of us. I will sometimes serve it over rice, and we eat flour tortillas and a big tossed green salad with it. Makes a great meal your way or with the rice.

I'm glad to see that someone else likes it too. It is so easy to make and really delicious.
