Chicken Crescents

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup diced, cooked chicken
  • 1 pkg. cream cheese (3oz.)
  • 3/4 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 2 tsp. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 pkg. crescent dinner rolls
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Directions:

In medium bowl, mix chicken, cream cheese, soup, milk and spices. Separate crescent rolls so that you have four squares; press each very flat. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture into half of each square. Fold other half (at perforation) and seal. Brush top and bottom with melted butter and roll each crescent in crushed croutons.

Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 minutes. Serves 4.

Recipe: Crunchy Chicken Crescents

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
  • 2 packages cream cheese with chives, softened (3 oz. each)
  • 1 1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken
  • 1 package crescent dinner rolls, separated (8 count)
  • 3/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1 cup seasoned stuffing mix

Directions

Cream softened margarine and cream cheese together in bowl. Add chicken, mixing well. Spoon 1/4 cup chicken mixture onto each roll. Wrap dough to enclose filling, sealing well. Dip each roll into melted margarine. Coat with stuffing mix. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes.
