Tuna Mashies

Good for kids lunches.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup left over mashed potatoes
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 2 tsp. fresh dill
  • 1 green onion
  • 2 tsp. lime juice

Directions:

Combine and stir all ingredients together. If using regular tuna add 1/2 tsp. lemon juice. Pack tuna mixture in lunch box container. Wrap and pack whole grain bread cut into wedges or pack pitas. Also pack a plastic spoon for your child to spread it on the bread. You can also pack tuna with veggies, so the child can dip into it.
