Slow 'N Easy Pork Chops
- 6 thick pork chops
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 cup Minute Rice
- 1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat shortening in skillet; brown chops. Place chops in single layer in baking pan; sprinkle with salt, pepper and rice. Combine soup and milk; pour over chops, making sure rice is completely covered. Add more milk if necessary. Cover pan with lid or foil; bake about 1 1/2 hours.
