When we had our hardwood floors installed, the installer instructed us to use Nothing BUT vinegar on the floors. He said it would clean them without damaging the wood and wouldn't leave any soap residue. I have been using vinegar for years and everything stills looks great. I put a capful in the dishwasher and when washing clothes...a tip my Mom gave me. It helps clean everything!!
