I have never gotten stains on my clothes from soap. I pour it directly on clothes sometimes to get stains out. I suspect it is something else that is staining your clothes. I have gotten grease spots from fabric softener that was poured directly on clothes. I also find that stains from food and oil often don't show up on clothes until after the first washing. I treat those with Shout or something like that.
